
ProMath 2017
It is our pleasure to invite you to the 19th conference on Problem Solving in Mathematics Education, ProMath 2017, organized by
the Institute of Mathematics, Mathematics Teaching and Education Center of the
Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest, Hungary. The conference will be held from
August 30th to September 01st, 2017.
The ProMath 2017 conference is also the annual meeting of the
working group Hungary (Arbeitskreis Ungarn) of the Society of Didactics of Mathematics
(Gesellschaft für Didaktik der Mathematik).
Aim of the conference
The aim of the conference is to provide a discussion forum and to present research results in the field of problem solving. In the ProMath spirit we will provide enough time to engage in in-depth discussions after each presentation.

Call for papers
Papers may be of two types:
- research papers, that have a rigorous theoretical underpinning (empirical, theoretical, or developmental papers), or
- papers from teachers and others practitioners on research and/or experimental work, that has been done in the classroom.
The conference will be held in English.
Important dates
If you are interested in presenting a research report, the
registration form
with title and abstract of your presentation have to be submitted no later than

31st, 2017.

Conference Fee
We ask the participants to support the conference proceedings with 20
Euros. It shall be paid on the conference by cash.
Accommodation
You may find information concerning the accommodation
here. The Mathematics Institute of
Eötvös Loránd University is very close to Petőfi bridge on Buda part of the city.
Public transport is very good in
Budapest.
