ProMath 2024

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 23rd conference on Problem Solving in Mathematics Education - ProMath 2024 - organized by the Faculty of Science, Split, Croatia. The conference will be held from September 4th to September 6th, 2024 at the Faculty of science, Split (Ruđera Boškovića 33, 21000 Split).

Aim of the conference

The aim of the conference is to provide a discussion forum and to present research results in the field of problem solving. In the ProMath spirit we will provide enough time to engage in in-depth discussions after each presentation.


The theme for the conference is

Problem solving in mathematics education

 

We are very happy to announce that the plenary talk


Mathematical problems in different terminological frameworks: the coin in different currencies

will be given by


Tatjana Hodnik from the University of Ljubljana,
Faculty of Education, Slovenia.

 

 

Participants are invited to submit presentations in the form of

  • research papers, that have a rigorous theoretical underpinning (empirical, theoretical, or developmental papers), or
  • papers from teachers and other practitioners on research and/or experimental work which
    has been done in the classroom, or
  • posters

The conference will be held in English.

If you are interested in presenting a research report, an abstract and a title of your presentation have to be submitted no later than June 1st, 2024. Please use the template for it.

If you plan to participate at the ProMath conference, the registration form must be in the hands of the organizers no later than July 15th, 2024. To register (and to submit your abstract) please fill out the registration form.

 

Important dates

The latest day to submit an abstract: June 1st, 2024.

Information about the acceptance of the report: June 21st, 2024.

The latest day to register: July 15th, 2024.

Conference fee payment: July 15th, 2024.

Days of the conference: 4 - 6 September, 2024.

The latest day to submit the paper: to be posted later on.

Please pay the conference fee of 70 Euro in the following bank account no later than July 15th, 2024. If you are a student enrolled in a Master or PhD Program your conference fee is 40 Euro.
