ProMath 2019
It is our pleasure to invite you to the 21st conference on Problem Solving in Mathematics
Education, ProMath 2019, organized by the University of Ljubljana,
Faculty of
Education, Slovenia. The
conference will be held from September 11th to September 13th,
2019 at the Faculty of Education (Kardeljeva ploščad 16, 1000
Ljubljana, Slovenia).
Aim of the conference
The aim of the conference is to provide a discussion forum and to present research results
in the field of problem solving. In the ProMath spirit we will provide enough time to engage in in-depth discussions after each presentation.
The theme for the conference is
Problem solving in different contexts
Participants are invited to submit presentations in the form of
- research papers, that have a rigorous theoretical underpinning (empirical, theoretical, or developmental papers), or
- papers from teachers and other practitioners on research and/or experimental work
with a focus on Problem solving in different contexts. Papers which do not align with the theme of the conference will be allotted less time for presentation, if accepted.
The conference will be held in English.
If you plan to participate at the ProMath conference, the registration form must be in the hands of
the organizers no later than July 1st,
2019.
If you are interested in presenting a research report, an abstract and a title of your
presentation have to be submitted no later than
May 15th, 2019. Please use
registration form for it.
Important dates
The latest day to submit an abstract: May 15th, 2019.
The latest day to register: July 1st, 2019.
Information about the acceptance of the report: June 15th, 2019.
The latest day to submit the paper: to be posted later on.
