ProMath 2015

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 17th conference on Problem Solving in Mathematics Education, ProMath 2015, organized by the University of Halle-Wittenberg. The conference is held from September 03rd to September 05th, 2015 at the Faculty of Education.

Aim of the conference

The aim of the conference is to provide a discussion forum and to present research results in the field of problem solving. In the ProMath spirit we will provide enough time to engage in in-depth discussions after each presentation.

The theme for the conference is Learning through Problem Solving.

The ProMath 2015 conference is also the annual meeting of the working group "Problem Solving" of the Society of Didactics of Mathematics.

Here you can find further information. If you plan to participate on the ProMath 2015 conference, the registration form must be in hands of the organizer not later then July 10th, 2015.

The latest day to register: July 10, 2015
The latest day to submit an abstract: May 31, 2015
The latest day to submit the paper: December 04, 2015

Program

Detailed information will be provided in June 2015.

Conference proceedings

Conference papers are going to be published as a book in the series Ars Inveniendi et Dejudicandi.
Deadline for the papers is December 04, 2015. Review-process begins after that.

Travel Information

The airport of Leipzig/Halle is served by flights from many cities in Europe. Further travel and tourist information is available here.
