ProMath 2022
It is our pleasure to invite you to the 22nd conference on Problem Solving in Mathematics
Education - ProMath 2022 - organized by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. The
conference will be held from August 22nd to August 24th,
2022 at the
School of Primary Education (Tower
Building, Campus, 54124 Thessandloniki).
Aim of the conference
The aim of the conference is to provide a discussion forum and to present research results
in the field of problem solving. In the ProMath spirit we will provide enough time to engage in in-depth discussions after each presentation.
The theme for the conference isProblem solving and problem posing:
perspectives and potentialities in research and practice
We are very happy to announce that the plenary talk will be given
by Dr Igor Kontorovich from the University of Auckland, New
Zeland:
"Do educational problem-posing
efforts align with practices of expert problem posers? Does it
matter?"

Participants are invited to submit presentations in the form of
- research papers, that have a rigorous theoretical underpinning (empirical, theoretical, or developmental papers), or
- papers from teachers and other practitioners on research and/or experimental work
with a focus on
perspectives and potentialities of problem solving and problem posing in
research and practice.
The conference will be held in English.
If you are interested in presenting a research report, an abstract and a title of your
presentation have to be submitted no later than
June 1st, 2022. Please use
registration form for it.
If you plan to participate at the ProMath conference, the registration form must be in the hands of
the organizers no later than July 15th,
2022.

Information about the acceptance of the report: June 15th, 2022.
